This is a handout about the Principles of Effective Multimedia design. You can refer to it whenever you are making an educational multimedia product (such as a PowerPoint presentation, a handout with images and text, or a video).

This is a free course I put up on Udemy to help people learn how to make better PowerPoint presentations, and how to better present information in digital formats.
It is based on Meyer’s 14 principles of Multimedia Learning, which are a great summary of everything research tells us about effective multimedia (e.g. PowerPoint, Video, Websites, Books, etc). It’s using a free version of Udemy, and is fully asynchronous. So, there isn’t much interaction among the students and it’s really just a set of videos with quizzes. But I didn’t want to charge people for it.
This is a short research paper that I am giving away for free. It describes how Generative AI Prompt Engineers could learn a lot from seasoned Writing Teachers.
